A talk by local wildlife photographer David Featherbee

Mon 18 Mar 2019 7:30pm

David is making a return visit to our Club to show us more of his wildlife shots

Here is a bit about him,

‘I am Kent based and have been taking photographs for more years than I care to remember, which incidentally is about the same sort of time that I have been diving; some 38 years!

My images have appeared in Birdwatch, Bird Watching and RSPB Birds Magazine, WWT’s Waterlife and numerous digital photography publications.

I have sold a good proportion of my work from my own stock at exhibitions hosted by the RSPB, WWT and at the Rutland Bird Fair, material, which I constantly update with new images.

I agonized over the move away from slide film, making the leap in 2008 as digital finally became the industry standard.

I am primarily a Canon user and pretty much a minimalist when it comes to the contents of my kit bag. After all, I am the one that has to carry it all.
