Michael I think your what looks like a fig hanging from the tree injects interest into your image. U an drawn to it because it is most likely the lighted part of the image and I am wondering - ist it a fig? When was the tree planted/. Are figs as old as the castle, who used teat them and how long ago. it is giving me a flavour of what happened, maybe, in the castle and yes that makes for a more interesting photograph than just a castle. The image itself is all very well exposed even the fig which is brighter, so it looks technically perfect to me, not an expert.. there are a lot of greens, if it were my image I might have attempted to loff the luminance and Ithe colours individually with a. Luminance and or colour mask. I do really like it I think it was well seen.
