The Club

Folkestone Camera Club is a club with a long history, it is a vibrant friendly club with a strong membership. We are affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain (PAGB) through the KCPA. We follow their guidelines and many lecturers and judges are obtained through them.

Our camera club is a great place to share your photographs and, if you wish, enter our regular friendly print and digital competitions, where you can learn from the critiques by experienced judges and have an opportunity to expand your knowledge and take better images.

Meetings

The club meets at 2:00 pm, Tuesday afternoons face to face in Sandgate Library, accessed by the back door in Castle Road, Sandgate CT20 3AG. On occasions we meet via Zoom on a Monday evening at 7:30 pm

Visitors and new members are always welcome! The weekly meetings from September to April/May offer members informative lectures, practical demonstrations and competitions. Full details can be found in the programme, where you can also find Zoom links for the evening meetings.

Our members participate in all photographic fields, using varied materials and helpful advice is always to hand. An exhibition of our work is usually held once a year at a local venue
