Hi Andy this was one of my favourite images on Monday, I don’t know how the judge didn’t see a bird with that title and he makes a great contribution to the image. Its minimalist which I love and High key which I love also. I bet this would look fab as a print.
I don't think that the fact a I shot it during a blizzard and having walked half a mile to get above the tree so there was nothing behind other than the woods on the far side of the valley actually quite worked, neither did the lone Robin singing away to an empty seat. It looks good in print as I had it done for the Craft Fair at the Chichester Hall this Sunday.
