I do love how you have caught the silhouette, I like the loneliness the expanse of sea creates too. If it had been mine, I might have tried flippingthe image so he/she is sailing into the picture and a crop to a letterbox landscape may give the extra impact the judge was after, but I love this minimalistic approach.
