Definitely undermarked imho. I love the angle you've taken it from Ashley, its different and well thought out. Love the background and all the detail in the image and again different to see in mono, maybe focus stacking (if you know how to do it, I don't, would have given more detail in the petals but thats a skill in itself. I don't think the border should have affected your mark that much.
