Due to uncertainty regarding the rail strikes, we have decided to move this to later in the season, date and time TBA.
There will be a trip to London at some point in February, more details nearer the time. Nick Blundell in charge.
The suggestion is to go to the museums in South Kensington, the Royal Albert Hall is also in the vicinity. Mon 23 Jan 2023 - 3 Way Battle with Romney Marsh CC and Rye & District CC — cancelled
Unfortunately, Bryan has received the following email.
I regret to say that we are having to cancel the above event. As I am sure you will know, this season it has proved almost impossible to obtain judges who are sufficiently local to book for face to face events.
Our Programme secretaries have made numerous enquiries, but have failed to find anyone of sufficient stature to judge that competition.
With our apologies, and best wishes to Folkestone

Sec, RDCC

It is with regret that we have decided not to hold the Christmas Do. A number of members are away on that date and, with the weather being somewhat ominous at present, we would not have used the library and had an in-person event. Bryan had planned an activity, but it proved unfeasible when tested over Zoom.
We wish you a happy and healthy Christmas and New Year and look forward to seeing you at the next programme event or WhatsApp meet-up.

Mon 28 Nov 2022 - Printing your own Christmas cards
Making your own Christmas Cards, Birthday cards or even note cards is becoming more popular as paper mills extend their photographic product ranges with pre-creased cards and matching envelopes.
Whilst the suppliers make the process look easy, there are some tips that can help ensure your success. Why, for instance, some photo printers can take any Fine Art paper, whereas others are much more choosy about what will work and what won’t?
In this free-to-attend workshop, Roger Crocombe ARPS shows how to develop and use templates for both Photoshop and Lightroom and then print them...
