A double competition afternoon - Open Print and Mono DPI.

Mono DPI - Up to 2 entries per member.

Open Print - Up to 3 entries per member. All prints must be mounted on card measuring 500mm x 400mm. The title and member's name must be indicated on the rear of all entries. Please remember to upload a DPI copy of the image onto the appropriate online competition.

Venue: Sandgate library only (no Zoom) with in-person judge - Colin Brownett, Romney Marsh Photographic Club

This is a presentation by Peter Benson FRPS MCrGP AWPF and includes the early days of photography, the start of Urban Night Photography and places for night photography in and around Central London.

A chance for us all to get involved and decide on the Club entry for the Diamond Jubilee competition.  The entry has to be uploaded in January so i have moved some meetings to accomodate the time we need for this. Just pushed the next meetings forward a week.

Present 15 images on your chosen theme and talk about them for no more than 12 minutes.

• Images on USB stick, please.
• Remember to number them by putting 01, 02, etc at the beginning of the file name, to be sure they appear in the right order.
• Judging is by secret ballot.

We will enjoy a Miscellany  on this occasion, a variety of Photographic exercises with audience participation.

1. Quails and photography 

Simon will give us a surprise presentation which is nothing to do with AI.

Quails and photography is a completely new area for Simon and he will recount

his experiences as to how he has got along!

Choose a photographer and bring copies of their work, on a USB stick, to tell us about...

All members are invited to submit up to 3pdi's ( please send to Michael ) for consideration as an entry into the Masters Of Print competition. This is especially important for members who have never entered a competion before...... to ....Have a Go

Artificial intelligence imaging isn't going away, so let's see what it can do with (or to) a photograph. Come and be amazed or outraged on this lively afternoon of revelation and discussion. To show your own creations or enhancements, please bring a USB stick with:

• Two original photographs of your own
• Two resulting images after using AI on them
• Up to two screenshots to show us what you did (but none is fine if you prefer)
