Thu 25 Apr 2024 - Three Way Club Battle
The Isle of Thanet Photographic Society have kindly invited Ashford Camera Club and Folkestone Camera Club to take part in a three way inter-club battle. Each club to submit 15 DPI images, with no more than two images by any one photographer. The competition will be judged by Paul Parkinson ARPS CPAGB BPE3

Tue 16 Apr 2024 - Mono Digital Image and Print Competitions
A double competition afternoon - Open Print and Mono DPI.
Mono DPI - Up to 2 entries per member.
Open Print - Up to 3 entries per member. All prints must be mounted on card measuring 500mm x 400mm. The title and member's name must be indicated on the rear of all entries. Please remember to upload a DPI copy of the image onto the appropriate online competition.

This is the competition to find the best overall photographer across five themes, one entry of each.

- Resizing for entry (but not cropping) may be performed on a computer or other device.

- All images must have an obviously creative input, either at the taking stage or in post editing.

Tue 9 Jan 2024 - Selection for FCC Diamond Jubilee Entry
A chance for us all to get involved and decide on the Club entry for the Diamond Jubilee competition. The entry has to be uploaded in January so i have moved some meetings to accomodate the time we need for this. Just pushed the next meetings forward a week.
Mon 11 Dec 2023 - Christmas lights and architecture
This is an evening photography expedition to photograph Christmas lights and also architecture. We'll meet at a convenient location (TBA) and proceed from there, no Zoom.

We will meet at Lympne Village Hall on the playing field next to the free car park at 14.00. If weather OK - it should be - I will demonstrate and answer questions about the dji mini 3 drone. After this there will be an opportunity to photograph the entrance to Lympne Castle and visit the Romney Marsh viewpoint nearby.

- Two original photographs of your own
- Two resulting images after using AI on them
- Up to two screenshots to show us what you did (but none is fine if you prefer)
